In the current period, technology offers children many opportunities and options for learning, playing and exploring. In parallel with technological advances, children's literature products are also being transformed into audio tales and e-books. Thus, e-books are rapidly taking their place in the world of children's literature alongside printed books. The aim of this study is to reveal the place of e-books in the world of preschool children, their preferences, feelings and thoughts on the subject and to evaluate the subject developmentally. In the research, phenomenology, one of the qualitative research designs, and semi-structured interviews were used to collect data. The research was conducted with 52 students in the 4-5 age group who continue their education in an independent kindergarten. It was determined that 42% of the children interviewed within the scope of the research knew what an e-book was and had listening/reading experience. As a result of the research, it was determined that almost all of the children felt positive emotions during the e-book reading process, both alone and with an adult. As a result; It is thought that e-books can be considered as an efficient example of technology use and screen time, especially for the preschool period when children do not yet know how to read and write; and that providing children with an experience that allows them to benefit from the gains of both types of books can be a developmentally beneficial approach. Thus, children can be offered the opportunity to connect with books and develop their reading skills through an enriched reading experience.
